A "Fund Raiser" organization for participating charities that strives to distinguish itself in the areas of artistic and charitable leadership by donating a portion of the proceeds from every work of art sold to participating charities.
Distribution of Funds Raised
ArtGalleryforCharity.com auctions are held monthly as "Fund Raiser" events for participating charities. Charities are selected by the artists and ArtGalleryforCharity.com. A percentage of the proceeds of the retail value plus 100% of the proceeds above retail value of auctioned pieces will be donated to the featured charity. The percentage is determined jointly by the artist and charity.
Ten percent of all other art sales will be donated to a participating charity. Individuals purchasing paintings can designate a specific charity to receive their contribution. If your Favorite Charity is not listed, Contact Us and we will contact them to see if they are interested in participating. All charitable contributions will be acknowledged by letter, documenting the contribution. If you would like to make an additional contribution to the charity of your choice you can purchase any piece of art for a price greater than the list price and 100% of the additional purchase price will go to that charity.In addition, special proceeds distributions can be negotiated on an individual basis.
